Michael Hampton's design aesthetic is characterized by a fresh approach to classical design while maintaining sensitivity to a home's architectural integrity and, most importantly, the needs and lifestyles of his clients.

As a native Californian, Michael spent 10 years in practice with a leading San Francisco design firm. He developed an appreciation of the relaxed spirit and clean lines of many of the great West Coast interiors -- an aesthetic he now blends with a love for the great rooms of the past. This broad expertise allows him to fuse multiple design elements in a way that truly reflects the best of both the classical and modern worlds, while creating an interior that is appropriate for the client.

His experience also includes time as a senior designer with a highly respected East Coast firm. As a project leader he has helped develop a number of large and influential assignments. Recent examples include an 8,000 square foot shingle-style house in Southampton, New York; a 35,000 square foot classical home in Bel Air, California; and a 15,000 square foot country estate in Middleburg, Virginia.
